Ultra Secure supply these popular 'Optex Wireless Driveway Alarm Systems' which have a very good working transmission range of an impressive 200 - 300metres (line of sight).

There are four working channels for the PIR to activate, each transmit a different tune to the receiver, allowing you to know which area has been activated. The fourth channel on the Optex Driveway Alarm Systems are a latching channel, meaning that if they are triggered, the receivers will chime continuously untill they are switched off, this makes them an ideal simple solution for protecting areas that people should not enter, it may be a store room in a shop etc.
The PIR's (passive infrared) are fully adjustable, allowing you to change the shape and direction of the beam to suit your application. You can have as many PIR's as you need to suit your application.

The receivers plug into any 13-amp wall socket, they have four working channels, an on/off switch, volume control, and one working dry relay.
The receivers are often used in conjunction with external sirens, flashing lights, speech alarms, telephone diallers, GSM diallers to help protect your family, home, business & perimeters.
You can have as many receivers as you need to suit your application, some customers have only one and move it from room to room, or building to building, some purchase one, two or more and leave them in different rooms.

What Are Driveway Alarms !!
Our Driveway Alarms are basically wireless battery operated detectors that signal back to the house or office alerting the home or business owner to the presence of a visitor, these visitors may be welcome guests or customers, they may be very un-welcome persons. The detectors are always powered by battery making them easy systems to install, the receivers are normally plugged into a 13-amp wall socket although some battery operated portable units are available.
The signal can be silent so only the homeowner knows, or it can be made to be audible and/or visual. You can choose multiple detectors going back to one receiver, or one detector going back to multiple receivers to suit your needs & applications.
They are relatively new to the UK, but have been used in the USA for many years, they are however becoming very popular here as they are seen as the first line of defence, we are often told that it is to late when the burgular alarm inside the house is triggered, they are already in.

Detectors !!
Q) Choose what, where & how you want to detect !!
A) The PIR of the RCTD system can be mounted at a height of 2 - 4 meters looking down towards the ground, ideally suited for home perimeter detection or above a door, the fan pattern can be easily adjusted from a wide short beam to a longer narrower beam to suit most applications.
A) The RCTD PIR can also be mounted sideways at a height of 1 - 2 meters, ideally suited looking accross a driveway or entrance, the fan pattern can be easily adjusted from a wide short beam to a longer narrower beam to suit most applications.
Q) Choose how many detectors you need.
A) You can have up to 16 detectors working on any receiver.

Receivers!!
Q) After the chosen detector or detectors have been activated and they have sent a wireless signal back to the receiver, what would you like to happen?, (in normal operation you will get a chime and light showing which detector has been activated).
A) The RCTD has 3 channels that give 3 different chimes and lights on the receiver, but also has a 4th channel that can be set to a latched mode, in this mode the receiver will chime constantly untill it is turned on the receiver, ideal for important locations.
Q) Choose how many receivers you need.
A) You can have as many receivers as you require.
Q) Choose if you require any sirens, flashing lights, dialers connected to the receiver.

1) Trigger indoor & outdoor sirens and/or flashing lights, the length of time for the activation is normally only a few seconds, but this can be adjusted using extra parts. ( a simple switch can be fitted to the cable which allows you when to choose to have the siren working).
2) Trigger dialers, these will send out pre-recorded voice or text messages to a selected number of land line or mobile telephone numbers.
3) Speech Alerts, we can trigger loud voices to boom out a pre-recorded message.
4) You may want a portable pager.
