Water leaks, large or small can and do cause thousands of pounds, if not hundred of thousands of pounds of damage to schools, factories, farms, shops & homes very single year.
This is becoming a bigger problem year on year, as global warming and construction upon flood plains increases.
Obviously a small water leak from a pipe cannot be put down to global warming, but as insurance companies have to keep paying out larger and larger amounts of money for large floods each year, they are also putting more and more restrictions and clauses in their policies.
This may mean, that not only do you have the problem of clearing up the water damage, you may also have the added problem of having to fund the repairs yourself due to your insurance company refusing to pay out.

Up to 12 wireless water detectors can transmit back to any one XL receiver which can be set to a chime or full alarm mode, another 4 sensors can work on a chime only mode.
Also available are additional wireless sirens for noisey applications and remote control for easy operation.

Decide where you believe the most likely locations are that may be prone to a water leak or flood, provided they are within radio range of the receiver (80 metres line of sight) you can install up to 16 detectors reporting back to 1 receiver.

The XL wireless receiver can operate 12 water detectors (or a mixture of XL detectors) working on a chime or full alarm mode, then a further 4 more can operate on a chime only mode.

Decide if you need an additional wireless siren, (normally for noisey or large applications).

Decide if you want a remote control to easily turn the control panel on & off.

Decide where to fit the XL control panel receiver.
