Unique XL 4-Channel PIR Driveway Alarm System is designed to inform home & businesses to the presence of visitors (welcome or not !), the wireless PIR's are battery powered and supplied in a specially designed rubber hood that gives extra weather protection and adjustable beam detection, the system can also be used as an alarm system at the same time.
The 4-channel system can work as a simple chime alert system using the PIR's inside or outside, but additional magnetic door contacts, water leakage detectors, temperature detectors, remote controls, external sirens, wireless dialers, light controls can be added to make this a very versatile security device.
The PIR Rubber Hood has been specially designed by Ultra Secure to give the PIR added weather protection, more subtly concealed and adjustable beam detection.
To increase the height or width of the beam our customers simply increase the size or shape of the hole in the rubber hood using scissors (simple).
The system has an impressive 80 metre wireless range and is often used to protect inside & outside garages,sheds or any outbuildings within range from theft, water leaks & temperature problems.

The system is fully wireless with all the detectors battery powered making it an easy to install DIY alarm system, with a full choice of detectors ranging from PIR's, Door & Window Contacts, Water Leakage, High & Low Temperature you can choose the exact quantity and type of detector to suit your individual application.
The receiver is plugged into a standard 13-amp wall socket, and includes an optional battery back up to allow it to work normally throughout power failures, channel identication & low battery warning.
This unique receiver gives you a visual & audible notification when a visitor arrives or an 100 Db siren activation if the alarm has been set & activated. It even allows you to have the alarm and chime set at the same time covering different areas in different ways, a truly versatile system.

Your motion detectors are rainproof however; we strongly recommend using our specially designed rubber hoods for full protection from harsh rain, wind and sun.
Fitting Note: Motion Sensor should be fitted using the ball joint bracket provided and placed at a height of 4 -5 ft. Then adjust the angle to suit. Set the angle to about 12 degrees from the vertical for maximum detection area and a smaller angle for more precise detection and to avoid unwanted activations.
Batteries required (not included) :
PIR Sensor Unit - 1 x 9v battery
Receiver Unit - Plugs straight into the mains using the adapter which is included however, 4 AAA batteries are required in case of mains failure.
INSTALLATION: TOOLS REQUIRED: Small Phillips head screwdriver.
MOTION DETECTOR:
Undo the retaining screw & slide off battery cover and install 1 x 9 volt battery. Reinstall cover and screw. The unit requires 45 seconds to re-set itself when the battery is first connected.
Mount detector onto a solid surface, approximately 5-6 feet from the ground. Remember the range of the PIR Sensor is up to 10 meters so it is best to mount the detector so that it has no view of street traffic. This unit should not be mounted so that the sun shines directly onto the lens surface.
1. Plug the Receiver unit into the mains using the provided adaptor. Turn main switch (located on side of unit) to 'OFF' - 'CHIME' or alert.
2. Place the Receiver within range of the motion detector or detectors, remember any walls or obstructions will cut down the range of the radio signal, so for best results place the Receiver and Motion Detector as close in range to each other as possible.
RECEIVER:
In 'OFF' mode the unit will only flash the corresponding red LED without sound.
In 'CHIME' mode the unit will emit a single chime sound (bing-bong) and the corresponding red channel LED will flash for approximately 13 seconds.
In 'ALERT' mode the unit will emit an alert signal in accordance with the channel activated (one beep for Ch1 and two beeps for Ch2 and 3 beeps for Ch3 etc.) and these beeps, together with the corresponding red flashing LED will continue for about 13 seconds.
To stop the alarm you simply key in your own 4 digit code into the Receiver.
Note: Channel 4 will only ever give an 'ALERT' signal no matter if the Receiver is set to ALARM, so bear that in mind when setting the unit up.
