Battery Powered Wireless Dual beam PIR Alarm System is ideal for protecting some types of
Church Roof Locations, the dual beam technology prevents many false alarms together with a market leading range Wireless Transmission range of 900 metres.
The PIR has 2 beams, one aims towards the ground (or roof level), the other one aims directly out staying above ground (or roof) both of these beams need to be broken at the same time to trigger the Alarm, therefore a bird flying through the centre beam will not trigger the alarm, likewise a squirel running through the lower beam will not trigger the alarm, but a warm blooded animal big enough to break both beams will trigger the alarm.
The key to making this alarm effective is being able to mount the PIR at least a metre above the roof.
When the PIR is activated a signal will be transmitted back to the Wireless Receiver which can be up to 900 metres away (normally located in the Church or Bell Tower), the receiver which is plugged into a standard 13-amp wall socket can be used to activate Sirens, GSM Dialers, Flashing Lights and other Security Devices.
You can add as many additional PIR's to this system to give you the safe coverage of the roof and lead.
The PIR's are powered by 2 x PP3 batteries.
