Ref: Fuel-Tank-Alarm-1 This 'Fuel Tank' Wireless Contact Alert System is designed to inform the home and business owner when the fuel tank lid has been opened using a low level audible bleep but also activates a dry relay that can be used to trigger sirens, flashing lights or dialers.
With a good wireless working range of 200 metres (line of sight) which can be dramatically increased by using our solar or mains powered signal repeaters.
Very easy and quick to install, perfectly designed for a DIY installation.The kit comprises of a battery operated magnetic contact housed in an additional protective plastic box that is attached to one part of the fuel tank lid using small self tapping screws. The magnet is then attached to the door frame again using small self tapping screws.
The six channel receiver is powered by a transformer that plugs into a standard 13-amp wall socket, when activated it will bleep for approximately 10 seconds to alert the home owner and also activate a dry relay that can trigger a range of accessories including dialers, sirens, flashing lights.
You can add additional detectors and receivers to this system including external security perimeter beams, smoke alarms, PIR's etc.
