To help decide what system suits you needs, please see some basic questions listed below:
1) Where is the nearest 13-amp power supply to the location that you need to help protect, this range of staff-watch systems have a basic 500 meters (line of sight) range but also have repeaters available that can double this.
2) In the event of an activation, what would you need to happen, this range of staff watch systems can activate a siren, flashing light or a pre-recorded message being sent to pre-recorded telphone numbers etc.
3) If you need a telephone message, have you got a phone line at the location of the receiver, if not we can use GSM technology these days.
4) How many panic buttons would be required.
5) Do you want an external sounder, we can supply with this 500 meter system a solar powered external sounder that is ideal for when you have members of staff working outside, but within reach of a single manned office or reception. This can be used with a standard staff watch system or on its own.

Q: What does line of sight mean ?
A: Line of sight is the stated wireless transmission range between the receiver and the transmitter (panic button in these systems) tested by all manufacturers in good conditions with no objects inbetween. Every object between the two locations will affect the working wireless distance in some way, as a general rule glass will make little difference, modern buildings will make moderate differences, old thick stone buildings may reduce it up to 50%.
Remember that most buildings, even old thick stoned ones do have glass windows.
Q: What if we can't get a reliable signal?
A: With this staff watch system we can use wireless repeaters that can double the transmision range, or help go around buildings.
