Why do we put handles at the opposite end from the hinge?
Simple, it allows us to open gates and doors easily with little effort!
That's why AgriWheel moves the gate from the easy end!
AgriWheel is powered by a low voltage motorized wheel at the latch end of the gate, allows us to open bigger, single gates easily & quickly with minimal power consumption, whilst still locking the gate shut when closed.
The 12v DC motorized wheel assembly floats using a simple suspension arm system allowing us to work over any surface with a rise and fall of 12 inches in ground height. AgriWheel will fit to any existing single gate.
Benifits include working fully through power cuts, charging even the most remote location using solar power, or for other locations, using cheap and safe low voltage chargers.
Nearly all other gate automation systems in the world operate from the hinge end of the gate, AgriWheel works with physics, not against it,it moves the gate from the latch end, the result is that it opens bigger gates far quicker than the others!

Please see below a few questions below regarding the mains power charger:
Q: We are interested in a mains charged AgriWheel, what distance between the gate and power supply would be viable!
A: We normally recommend that 100 meters between the gate and power supply is suitable for our mains chargers.

Q: Are there any regulations that we have to be aware of when using a mains charger!
A: No, as we are using just 12 v DC, you do not have to worry or comply with any rules (like the part p), you do not have to legally bury the cable.

Q: What cable would you recommend that we use to connect the charger to the AgriWheel control panel!
A: We recommend using armoured cable, this is not to comply with rules & regulations, it is to prevent animals damaging them in the future.

Q: What size battery should we choose!
A: Most applications using the mains charger work fine using the standard smallest battery, only in applications when the gate is in constant use would we recommend a larger battery, this would be different when using solar power.

Q: Is there any wiring we will need to do directly into the mains power supply!
A: No, the charger simply plugs into a standard 13-amp socket, this may be inside a building or a weatherproof outside set up.
