Sale Of New Security Products Purchased For R & D

Here at Ultra Secure Limited, we are constantley looking for new products from all corners of the globe with a view to finding additional products at better prices for our customers.

While doing this we actually purchase hundreds of sample products (as we never sell what we haven't tested) some of which are never used more than once.
The sample products that become part of our product range are normally kept as demostration kits, but scores of other products are rejected.

Some products are rejected because in our opinion they are not up to a sensible standard (these are thrown away), other products are rejected because of the following reasons:
1) They do not give Ultra Secure Limited any additional benifits from existing products and stock.
2) They are good quality systems, but the RRP would work out to expensive for specification they offer.
3) They look good products, but to complicated to program for most of our customers.
4) The supplier just wanted massive minimum quantities with every order.
5) The lead time between paying for the products and receiving them is unexceptable.
6) We have found a better supplier of a similar product.

Some of the samples we have tested we have really liked, and wanted to add them to our product range but just couldn't find a solution to overcome one of the problems listed above.

The products that are rejected because of the four reasons listed above are sold off at well below cost just to re-coup some of our on going R + D exspensies, they are supplied:
1) As New.
2) Only Used Once.
3) With the manual or disk that was supplied by the supplier with the sample (not always great).
4) Sold as seen warranty.

We cannot give any technical advice, service or parts for these products for obvious reasons, but the manuals will have the manufacturers details on them (or we can supply these details).
