Shop & Factory Door Alert Systems

Shop & Factory Door Alert Systems

Our range of wireless door bell systems are designed to inform the business owner to the presence of a customer from access points that cannot be seen or manned in shops, factories & offices.
There is the choice of battery operated detectors ranging from magnetic door contacts that detect a door being opened to PIR's that detect heat & movement to basic CCTV systems including monitors.
The various systems differ in both transmission range and technical specifications.

The most popular method is to connect a magnetic door contact to the door and door frame, when the door is opened the contacts are parted which activates a wireless signal back to a receiver. The receivers can be located in offices & workshops which are totally out of sight to the door entrances, depending on which system you have chosen the distance between the receiver and door can be up to 900 metres (line of sight) away, this can equate to 300 - 500 metres in real terms in a factory premises, in general the further the wireless signal has to work the higher the price will be.
You can choose to use more than one receiver, some customers place a receiver in two or three different locations.
You can also have more than one door being connected to one system, the receivers will inform you which door has been opened.

We also have some affordable basic CCTV viewing systems that will allow you to view between one and four entrance on a monitor, some customers use these together with our wireless alert systems. We have one system that will give an audible alarm at the monitor when anyone walks past the camera, very usefull for back of shop locations or entrances that should not be used often.

If you have a special application and you cannot find a suitable solution for you requirements, please contact us where we would be happy to try and solve this problem.

Door Entrance Bell Systems !!
There are a few issues to contemplate when deciding which entrance alert system will suit your business applications, please see below:

1) Distance between the entrance and location for the wireless receiver.
Our most popular door entry system is the XL range of alerts, these have a wireless transmission range of 80 metres (line of sight), these are ideal in a small size business application.
For larger businesses or noisey enviroments we have systems that will transmit 200, 300 & 900 metres (line of sight).

2) Detection area's.
A lot of our customers use these systems for not only alerting them to the arrival of a visitor, but also to monitor areas of unauthorised locations such as stock rooms, back doors, offices & warehouses. It is very easy to set up a system that will combine both uses as our choice of systems have most solutions to cover all applications.

3) Noise level of where the receiver is to be located.
How noisey is the location where the wireless receiver will be located in, if it is another office or store room then the XL system will be perfectly adequate, for louder enviroments the 200, 300 & 900 metre range are better.
The 900 metre range has an adjustable volume control ranging from low to very loud, it also has a 12v output that can power sirens and flashing lights to cover rooms with working machinery etc.

4) Door contact or PIR.
We can offer magnetic contacts that stick onto a door and door frame, when a door is opened a wireless signal is tranmitted back to the receiver, these are perfect unless it is a location that you often leave a door open. In most situations where a door is left open, it is normally only done when a member of staff is actually present.
In situations where doors are to be left open, a PIR situated inside the entrance is the solution, provided it is located in a position that picks up customers entering the shop, not whilst they are in the shop. You may require a mixture or detectors to cover different applications at different locations.
Please feel free to ask for advice on the best way to do this.
