The system is powered by a built in solar panel and is best mounted on a post, it has a 500 metre wireless working range from the set of twin beam allowing convenient installation.
The noise level is approximately 80 Db which is not the loudest of sirens, but enough to be heard by an intruder in the middle of the night and operates for one and a half minutes every time it is activated.
