Which Telescopic Parking Post Suits Me !!
Type of Lock
1) Intergral Lock, these are built into the post, the benifits are that you don't have to find somewhere to keep your lock when the post is not being used and that it is not as far to bend down to use, the downside is that should the lock get damaged or vandalized you will be looking at a new parking post.
2) Padlock, these are discuss padlocks in general, very easy to use and reliable, the benifits in general are that you can easily replace the lock at any time in the future, this may be needed through vandalism or perhaps because someone has a copy of the key, the downside is that you have to store the padlock somewhere when the post is not being used (some times it is possible to lock it onto the flat post). These are the most popular with our customers due to the fact that they are nomally better priced, and the thoughts of digging a post out because the lock has been vandalized!!

Size Of Telescopic Post!!
1) 70mm Square, these are easier and lighter to raise and lower, but not as strong as the larger posts, we would recommend if security is part of the reason for having a telescopic parking post, then the 700mm ones would be to light.
2) 100mm Square, these are the most popular by far, very strong when security is required, often fitted in front of doors and shutters to help prevent ram raids.

Can We Install The Posts Ourselves!!
These fully telescopic parking posts requires a deep narrow hole being dug, the approximate size would be 700- 750 deep by 300mm wide, then backfilled with firm cement.
You do need the correct tools and time to do this installation, often installed by general builders, fencing contractors or our own installation partner (Installer Network).
