Mounting the PIR Sensor:The key to successful operation of any PIR sensor is choosing the correct location. A sensor mounted in a unsuitable location has the potential to cause false triggers and reduce performance. The main rules that should be followed are:
1) Mount the PIR into a corner of a room.
2) Avoid heat spots from bright lamps suddenly turning on or off.
3) Do not install immediately above a radiator.
4) Do not install in a glass roof conservatory.
