Ref: Door-Chain-LockThis unique locking door chain has two functions, the first is to work in the same way as the traditional door chain allowing our customers to check who is at the door before fully opening it, the other very clever design is to allow carers to open the door by using a key in the event of an emergency. When using the chain in the traditional way, the chain is unlocked by just sliding it to the end of the travel.
When using it from the outside, the carer would need to get the door open to the chain length, then by using the suppied key unlocking the barrel system on the door frame.
