A: No, all of the sensors work off built in batteries Q: Do I need a power supply to where my receiver needs to go
A: Yes, if using the tradional receivers as these are plugged into a standard 13amp 3-pin socket, however we do offer a battery operated portable pager Q: How can I know there is a visitor if I leave the location of the receiver?
A: If you need to know about visitors when you have left the area of the receiver, you have the following options: - Purchase more than 1 receiver and locate them in suitable positions
- Purchase an external siren which connects to the receiver
- Purchase a pager system that sends a signal from the receiver up to 900 metres away (depending on obstructions)
- Dialler system, this would be connected to your telephone system and would ring 3 selected numbers announcing a pre-recorded message, (please call for advice)
Q: I don’t like to leave my credit card details on –line, can I purchase any other way
A: Yes, you can telephone us and give us your order or you are more than welcome to send a written order together with a cheque to the address above Q: What warranty do I get with the system?
A: You have 14 days to return or upgrade the product if it doesn’t work to your satisfaction, after that you get 12 months return to base warranty Q: Can I purchase more than 1 transmitter?
A: Yes, you can purchase as many transmitters as you require covering different entrances Q: Can I purchase more than 1 receiver?
A: Yes, you can purchase as many receivers as you require Q: What tools are required to fit the systems
A: It couldn’t be easier, a screwdriver to mount the transmitter, the receiver simply plugs into a standard 13amp 3-pin socket Q: How long does ot take to fit the systems
A: Approximately 5 – 15 minutes including testing Q: How do I know the systems will work over the advertised distance?
A: You don’t, that is why we clearly state that working distance is line of sight, we have tested all of the products and can confirm they do work over these ranges, but because we can not know what obstructions may be in the way we offer full honest advice and a 14 day refund/upgrade policy to cover this Q: Are the products made in the UK?
A: No, we have imported them mainly from the USA, they are then adapted for the UK and then thoroughly tested in the UK before being sold. Q: Are the transmitters weatherproof
A: Yes, all of our transmitters are external models, perfectly OK in the British weather Q: I am worried the sensors will pick up small animals
A: Yes, it is true the sensors could pick up animals; our advice is always to keep them higher than a normal dog, cat or fox. Q: Is your payment page safe
A: Yes. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption via our payment service provider PROTX who authorise your details and process the payment. At no point do we view your credit card details. Q: Are our details we leave with you safe
