 Ultra Secure Ltd, offer a range of Decoy CCTV Cameras (often called dummy cameras), which are used by our customers to deter unwanted people from entering unauthorized locations, stealing etc, or more importantly from carry out violant crime against empoyees & family.
The most important thing with decoy cameras is to use systems that look real, a cheap looking false camera will achieve nothing.
We are soon introducing a range of quality dummy cameras all using real CCTV casings, which will include external cameras with flashing led lights, internal dome cameras and the more traditional type of internal camera. Also available will be a moving base unit for the internal camera giving it an even more real look and feeling.

Our answer is, most people slow down when they see a speed camera, even though they are sure it is a false one, the same goes for CCTV.
Provided you use a quality camera that looks real, you will deter most people (but not all).
Our external CCTV dummy camera actually use real aluminimum CCTV cases, but with a false internal camera, so you can get no more real than that without going to the cost of real systems.
