This Dakota Internal PIR system is the newest wireless PIR indoor motion alarm from Dakota Alert. With a wireless range of up to 900 meters* and full compatibility with any of our Dakota systems, transmitters or receivers, the WIRWR-3000E will allow you to monitor many indoor locations that were difficult before.
The passive infra red detector is able to monitor an area up
to 100º wide. With the integral mask, the detection area can
be narrowed down to 20º or anywhere in between. With the
swivel mount, the PIR sensor can be adjusted right to left up to 80º and up and down up to 50º. With three different sensitivity settings, the PIR sensor can detect a person up to 3 , 4.5, 8 meters away.
The sensor can also be set to flash an LED or stay dark when a signal is sent. The PIR is powered by one 9 volt battery and will have a battery life of about 12 months under normal conditions. There is also a low battery alert to notify you when it is time to replace the battery. The IR-3000 is designed for indoor or light duty outdoor applications under an eave or awning or other protected location.
