This Brilliant Wireless Probe Drive Alert uses a Vehicle Detection Probe to detect cars and vehicles. It has a wireless range of an incredible 900 meters, the receiver simply plugs into a standard 13-amp socket and has a built in chime, timed relay output and many other advanced features!
The Dakota Vehicle Drive Alert Probe is an extremely reliable driveway alarm that detects vehicles only, no false alarms caused by animals such as Deer etc.. The transmitter operates on one 9 volt battery and burial wire (13 metre) connecting the probe to the exterior case. The magnetic metal sensing probe is buried along side the driveway and will detect vehicles passing by within about 10 to 12 feet. IThe direct burial cable can be run to a tree or post nearby there the transmitter box is located. When a vehicle drives by, the transmitter will send a signal to the receiver up to 900 meters away*. The DAKVEH is ideal in locations where there might be deer or other large animals that would cause false signals with the motion type systems. Also, because the probe buried underground it will be the least noticeable of our wireless systems. The transmitter is weatherproof and meant for exterior locations. Up to 4 zones can be monitored with additional transmitters. The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a different tone at the receiver. You can add additional receivers and transmitters, (you can even have a selection of different type transmitters)to suit your particular application. The small 9v battery will operate the PIR for 6 - 18 months, depending on how busy the entrance is. The size of the Transmitter Box is 140mm wide, 160mm long, 80mm deep.
