I took delivery today of an XL wireless alarm system plus a number of additional accessories.Firstly I was impressed with the delivery notification via e mail which meant I could actually plan my day.
But I was even more impressed with the system itself. We inherited a wired system from the previous home owner and the control panel had been installed in the airing cupboard. This was cooked last weekend by a plumber who was doing some work in there for us and who soaked it with water!
I am perhaps not the best person to install anything, never mind an alarm system so it was with some anxiety that I started the job immediately after it arrived. I needn't have worried though because it was a doddle. The system was programmed in 20 minutes on my kitchen worktop {1 door sensor, 4 motion sensors and a siren which was already programmed...thank you for that}
It took an hour to replace the old motion sensors with the new ones and away you go...working perfectly, and the siren is very loud. It was then I realised another advantage of the XL wireless system which perhaps you should include in your advertising. When we come to decorating it will be so much easier as the motion sensors just pop off their stalks rather than having to decorate around the wired type or taking a chance and dismantling them.

Just to say that we have installed your JN-M02 base station in conjunction with a TB5-20 scanner on a church roof and have been very pleased with the result. The beam length is approximately 15m and alignment with the periscopes and filter was straightforward. Admittedly, it is summer with lots of daylight so we hope that the batteries will be charged by the integral solar cell when the conditions are not so favourable. Both beam units are in direct daylight. In fact we were so impressed with the performance of the first beam pair that we have just installed a second zone. In this case the beam distance is closer to 20m but still the set up was straightforward with a first-time success.

Firstly thanks for the very efficient delivery of this product {it arrived first thing this morning}- very impressive given the time of year and delivery issues most people are having!
Despite having followed the instructions carefully I couldn't get the unit to function correctly initially.
However, after some helpful advice from one of your team and putting the unit in its required location it worked perfectly.
It transpired that the GSM signal strength was not strong enough when I tested at home but fortunately appears to be fine now.
My only comment is that the detailed instructions do not cover this and also the fact that the "run" LED flickers when operating correctly {unless I missed this}. I suggest that this may be useful to incorporate into the instructions to help others who may experience this problem.

I thought I'd let you know that not only did the equipment arrive on time, but I have installed it and it is excellent. I think you could have a product here which could fill a niche market - a means of indicating remotely whether an up-and-over garage door has been left open. It is cheaper than the alternatives on the market, and they didn't really work properly anyway. Simply a tilt switch + an XL Intel switch are all you need. I now have a mains lamp in the hall which is lit when the garage door is open, and off when it's closed. Stops me accidentally leaving the garage open overnight, which occasionally I did as it can't be seen directly from the house. I've had some valuables stolen, but hopefully never again. Perfect.

I have recently had unwelcome visitors in my outbuildings whilst I was at home, alone. The buildings are some way from the house and out of sight. I decided I needed a drive alarm, at the least.
A Google search brought me to your website and the quality of the site, the products available and the prices encouraged me to order the W3000 wireless drive sensor and pager type receiver. These were ordered last week and and arrived the very next day. The alarm was installed and working within a couple of hours. I was so pleased with the set up that I placed an order for further sensors and another receiver yesterday, to 'beef up' the system. These items arrived today and, again, were installed, tested and working within a couple of hours.

MID SUFFOLK CONNECT – THOUSANDS HAVE THEIR SAY TO KEEP MID SUFFOLK SAFE TOGETHER.
Thousands of people engaged with Suffolk Constabulary, Mid Suffolk District Council
and other partner agencies last weekend (25th-27th March) to help make the District an
even better, safer place to be.
The weekend of action was held as part of Mid Suffolk Connect, an initiative which
saw a number of agencies and groups come together to gain a better understanding
of local communities and the issues that matter to them. They will then continue to
work in partnership through Safer Neighbourhood Teams to build further, sustainable
links that match the needs of each community and solve problems that local people
raise, to ensure Mid Suffolk remains one of the safest parts of the country.
A range of activities and operations were held over the weekend.
Community engagement
Officers from the Stowmarket, Mid Suffolk North, Mid Suffolk South and Mid Suffolk
Central Safer Neighbourhood Teams visited every parish in the district to speak to
local people about issues in their areas, often accompanied by Police Authority
members and local councillors. Visits were carried out at homes, shops, schools,
community centres and other locations. In Stowmarket events were held outside the
major supermarkets so the SNT could be seen by a large amount of people.
Mid Suffolk North
Purse bells were given to members of the public in Rickinghall and Botesdale, and
dozens signed up to the messaging service Police Direct. In Gislingham a group of
residents met with SNT officers and enquired about setting up comprehensive
Neighbourhood Watch Scheme cover across the whole village.

Mid Suffolk North SNT Sergeant Jon Eaves commented, Several residents spoke to
us about the reassuring presence of the large police 4x4 Ford Ranger vehicle we have
recently acquired; it has been very noticeable in the villages. In Eye, people have
noticed a great improvement in parking owing to recent efforts of PCSOs, in particular
PCSO Dave Faulkner. It was very good to note that the majority of people we spoke to
know who their local officers are and speak highly of them.
Mid Suffolk Central
Speeding was the main complaint raised by communities in this area, with 685 houses
visited and a further 200 people spoken to at police surgeries.
Mid Suffolk Central SNT Sergeant Nick Emerick said, It was great to hear from local
people how policing of their villages had improved. A resident in Wickham Skeith
made particular mention of how he had never seen a police officer in his village until
noticing a marked improvement about four years ago. He stated he now often saw an
officer around his village, regularly on a bike. A similar comment was also made to me
by a resident in Occold. It has given a boost to my team to have their efforts
acknowledged by their communities.
Mid Suffolk South
Public engagements at the Thurston New Green on Friday 25th March, Needham
Market car boot sale on Saturday 26th March and Bramford Water Park on Sunday
27th March were well attended with Police Direct and Crime Reduction leaflets handed
out to hundreds of people.
Mid Suffolk South SNT Sergeant Colin Curtis commented, "We were able to visit all of
our 41 parishes over the course of the weekend, leaving our contact details with a
large number of residents whilst promoting the forthcoming StreetWatch schemes and
security marking a large number of cycles.

Oil theft seminar
Representatives of parish councils, Farmwatch, Neighbourhood Watch and the local
community attended an Oil Theft Prevention Seminar at Wattisfield Community Centre
on Friday 25th March. Presentations were given by Mid Suffolk North SNT Sergeant
Jon Eaves and Crime Reduction Officer Georgi Hawkes, which were followed by
presentations from representatives of the private security industry who were on hand
to explain and demonstrate the various types of alarms and devices available. The
visiting speakers were UltraSecure Direct, Tank Change and Anglian Burglar Alarms.
Ultra Secure brought a large display trailer with them, containing a large range of
sophisticated tank alarms and security devices. Crime prevention literature was
distributed to those in attendance.
All those who supported this event felt it was very informative. Liz Harlaar, local
Suffolk Police Authority member, was also on hand to speak to the public and answer
questions regarding policing services.
Truancy sweep
SNT officers, including Stowmarket’s Safer Schools Officer PCSO Claire Cox, and
education partners carried out the sweep in Stowmarket on Friday 25th March. Eight
children were found out of school, none of them were legitimately off school.
Two young people were returned to school, but the remaining six made off from
officers after being seen or speaking to them, their parents were spoken to and further
action will be taken as appropriate.

Activities for young people
A mobile skate park was set up at Stowupland High School between 10am and 3pm
on Saturday 26th March. This was very popular with around 30 local teenagers using
the park, and allowed SNT officers to speak to the young people in a relaxed
environment.
On Sunday 27th March, PCSO David Harvey and PCSO Ryan Brunning ran a session
with FA qualified coaches at Stowmarket Town Football Club. The day consisted of
practices and games to enable children to develop essential soccer techniques and
take part in football-based learning. Approximately 40 children took part in the Soccer
Star Challenge, and the day finished off with a crossbar challenge and a prize draw.
Night-time economy patrols
With the West Suffolk SOS Bus and Stowmarket Town Pastors on hand to give
assistance as required to people enjoying a night out, officers inspected three
licensed premises and gave advice to licensees. The Security Industry Authority (SIA)
carried out checks on nine door staff and issued four warnings for failing to keep
personal details up to date.
SIA Head of Investigation Nigel Davies said, "I am pleased that all individuals checked
held a valid SIA licence. This is reassuring for us, our partners and importantly the
public. However, I remind door staff that they must adhere to the conditions of their
licence."

Mid Suffolk Safer Neighbourhood Team Inspector Tristan Pepper said, “I am delighted
that we managed to speak to so many people across the district. We met with and
were seen by thousands of people in Stowmarket alone, and made visits to
community locations and called at homes in every parish.
We will now be looking at the feedback we received to see if any new concerns or
issues were highlighted over the weekend, so we can work on these with partners.
We will continue in the spirit of Mid Suffolk Connect, engaging with communities at
times and locations to suit them.
