Wired Intruder Alarms

Wired Intruder Alarms were the only option going back to the 1990's and are still popular today when fitting into a new build or renovation project when the cables can be hidden away out of sight.
Now that Wireless Burglar Alarms are so reliable most DIY installations are carried out using this new generation of wireless alarms, but some customers still prefer the wired versions and provided you can lay the cables between the PIR's & Door Contacts to the Control Panel in a acceptable way they are very reliable easy to use systems.

Wireless Alarms normally give you more options with the accessories such as smoke, fire, vibration, flood, temperature, garage door detectors on top of the standard PIR's (passive infra red) and door contacts and are quicker and cleaner to install.
Wireless Alarms also make it easy, clean and quick to change (or add) detectors to suit a change in a rooms use, structure or furniture.

Wired Intruder Alarms will give you no worry about corrupt wireless signals giving you false alarms.

A) Now that Wireless Alarms are so reliable, most DIY installations are normally carried out using wireless systems, these give you a better choice of detectors, a cleaner and quicker installation but for customers who do not trust wireless signals, or have a lot of wireless signals in use a wired system can be a good choice provided the cables can be laid in an acceptable way.
