GSM Home & Business DIY Smart Wireless Alarm 

The GSM Module is supplied as a separate unit to the Wireless Control Panel, which has the benefit of allowing you to install the Alarm Control panel in the most suitable location for daily operation and the GSM Module in the most suitable location for a mobile phone signal (and secure from vandalism).

 

A SIM Card (pay as you go or contract) is required to operate the GSM Module, we recommend using a network that gives you a good mobile signal at the location of the proposed installation.

 

The GSM Alarm can be remotely operated with a smart phone using a Free to download Apple or Android APP, this easy to use APP allows you to:

• Program the GSM Module.
• Fully Arm, Part Arm & Disarm the Alarm.
• Turn Chime Mode ON/OFF.
• Trigger Panic Alarm.
• Receive Status Report.

 

The Alarm System can work with as many Alarm Detectors as needed (no limit) allowing you to design a system to suit your exact requirements, you can purchase basic or more advanced kits and then simply add any additional detectors to make the desired Alarm System.

 

You can also add Battery Powered Sirens, Dummy Sirens, Remote Controls & Battery Powered Wireless Keypads.

  

When the Alarm is triggered, the GSM Module will contact key-holders in the following way:

• It will send text messages (sms) to the first 2 key-holders.
• It will then call the first 2 key-holders, allowing them to listen to the pre-recorded message (key-holder 1 first).
• The key-holders can listen into the immediate location of the GSM Module.
• The key-holders can then choose to disarm the alarm by using the one button press on the APP (for customers without Android or I Phone a text message can be sent).
• The key-holders can also choose to reset (disarm & arm) the alarm system.
• If no action is taken by the first 2 key-holders, the GSM Module will contact the other key-holders and continue to contact all (including the first two) for the pre-programmed cycles, or until it is switched off remotely of locally.

 

The Alarm Control Panel is supplied with all features expected from modern day Alarms, including:   

 

• Can be used as an Alarm or Alert (or both).
• 8 Alarm Zones (can use unlimited number of Alarm Detectors).
• Can be Armed & Disarmed by Wireless Keypad, Remote Control or Built in Keypad.
• Up to 99 Remote Controls can be used with each Alarm System.
• Any Remote Control can be removed from the Alarm Panel (for security reasons if one is lost).
• It has a built in 120 Decibel Siren.
• It has a Battery Back Up (with battery charge symbol visible when the power is unplugged).
• It will operate for up to 6 hours on the Back Up  Battery.
• Operates on 868 Mhz.
• 200 metre (line of sight) Wireless Range.

• 6 Modes of Operation:
  • Full Arm (the complete Alarm System is Armed).
  • Home Arm (only chosen Alarm Detectors are Armed, suitable for when you are at home).
