Q: Do the Cameras require a SIM Card? 
A: Yes (a 4G SIM Card with Data). 

Q: What SIM Cards work?
A: We have tested the following:

  • The Roaming Data SIM Card (available within this website).
  • O2.
  • EE.
  • VodaFone.

Q: If my SIM Card doesn't work, can I manually add a APN?
A: Yes (see video). 

Q: How does Human Detection work?
A: The Camera has built in Human Detection which will send a Push Notification to your Phone or Tablet stating 'Human Detection', but this will only happen when the person has been in front of the Camera for 10 - 20 seconds (for example trying to break into a locked door). If the period of detection is shorter than this, the Push notification will still occur but stating 'Motion'. 

Q: What Recording Modes are there available?
A: The Cameras can record video & audio onto the built in SD Card when motion is detected (with adjustable sensitivity) which can be played back on your Smartphone or Tablet at any time, this can be done by choosing:

  • Automatic (it will start to record when an object passes the built in PIR Sensor).
  • Via the APP (whilst you are looking at the Camera).

Q: Can Audio be Recorded?
A: Yes this can be set up.

Q: Can I be notified if the Camera Detects Human movement?
A: Yes by Push Notification to your Mobile Phone.

Q: Do the Cameras have Night Vision?
A: Yes all Camera have full night vision.

Q: Do the Cameras have built in Alerts?
A: Yes, there are the optional following Alerts available:

  • Siren.
  • Dog Barking.
  • Custom Recording.

Q: Is the duration of the Alerts adjustable?
A: Yes these are adjustable within the APP (options include 5, 10, 20 & 30 seconds).

Q: Is there Two way Audio?
A: Yes there is two way Audio (allowing you to listen into the Cameras and talk through the Cameras when required). 

Q: Can we Live Stream the Cameras?
A: Yes this is the most important feature of these Cameras.

Q: How do you Live Stream into the Camera?
A: You can log onto the APP at any time and view live streaming, this is the only time the Camera will be using Data from your SIM Card.

Q: What are the resolution of the Cameras?
A: The resolution of the Cameras can be 1080P but often it is better to set it to the 'Standard Definition' (which would use less data and potentially stream faster).
